Car offered at:
www.runnymedemotorcompany.com/ForSale.htm
Sellers description:
1972 JAGUAR E TYPE 5,3 ROADSTER finished in Old English White with contrasting black hide interior. This car is in fabulous condition throughout and was the subject of a ground up restoration about 9 years ago with documented photographic record. On the instruction of the previous owner the whole car was dismantled including removing the front frames and the body shell was stripped to bare metal. The original bonnet had some corrosion and was replaced with a completely new bonnet and after being correctly primed the car was subjected to a beautiful multi-coat repaint. From the history file it is evident that cost was not an obstacle in the execution of this restoration as is evident from he finished article. One look at the condition of this car will convince any prospective owner that the whole restoration was carried out to the highest standard. It has the added advantage of rear child seats from a 2+2 in place of the original parcel shelf, making it very usable for family outings. It will undoubtedly hold its value and probably increase. £59,950
