Advertised on carsales.com.au 27 December 2023, asking AUD$299,000. The car is in Sydney, Australia. Selling dealer’s description (edited) follows:
This convertible built January 1971 was delivered new to Michael Johnston in London, UK. Michael brought the car to Australia in 1974. It underwent a restoration in 1996. Michael owned it until the late 1990s. The second owner, Barry Morris, owned the car until he passed away just a few years ago when the current owner purchased it through his connections to the Jaguar Owners Club.
There are receipts for significant expenditure, including the most recent one from Peninsula Sports Cars who went through the car from end to end making sure it was absolutely spot-on (including new tyres and a full exhaust system).

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
