Purchased from California owner 8/2012. Car has been restored with new paint, ignition and wiring, carb work. No rust! A great driver, I use it every day. I like to say she runs like it's 1969. For what it's worth, the odometer reads a little over 42,000 miles.

This 4.2 liter E-Type Series II runs like it's 1969. Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate. NO RUST.
I acquired the car in August of 2012 from an attorney in California who owned it for many years.Odometer read just under 40,000 when I purchased. Current reading: 45,440. Passed California inspection in 11/1996 registering 36,602 miles. Interior was refitted in 12/1997 when the odometer read 36,606. He sold it to me because, as is evident, he wasn't driving it much though he enjoyed working on it. I have all of his records from the 1990's.
Here is a list of significant upgrades I have made since 8/2012:
New tires 3/2015
Front Brakes, water pump, refurbished radiator 10/2014
New ignition wiring, new brake hoses, rebuilt carburetors 1/2013
New paint 11/2012
New stainless Steel exhaust 10/2012
Valve covers removed and repaired, new Carter Bowel fuel pump, new spin oil filter, spark plugs 10/2012
All gauges in working order excepting the clock which I have permanently set at cocktail hour here in Florida 4:00.
Canvass top very good condition 12/1997 with a new boot cover.
Shocks replaced 6/2002, new spinner knockoff wire wheels 6/2007
Rear bushings replaced 6/2002
Windscreen 6/1998 (scratch on passenger side)
Pistons and rods, block work 6/1996
A wonderful and worry free driver, the car runs and steers perfectly. Oil changed at regular intervals (synthetic). There are no rattles except for the rear view mirror over speed bumps.
This Jaguar has had excellent care from Rick Hunt of Hunt Automotive in South Ft. Myers and from Debold automotive in Bonita Springs. Call them.
In the last year I have sold fine specimens of a 1996 Jaguar XJS, a 1989 Mercedes Benz 560SL. I recently acquired a 2015 Corvette z06 which has been tracked at nearby Sebring. I also own a 2008 Porsche Cayman which my wife drives. The family sedan is a 2006 E-60 M5. I mention this to indicate that I love and care for fine automobiles. This E Type is one. I am selling to buy a BMW i8. Can't wait.
Price: $64,995

I acquired this fine automobile on January 7, 2016 from Fred Borowski through a consignment with Debold automotive. The car has moved just a little to the south to Naples, Florida from Bonita Springs. It is a wonderful driver - just as described by Fred. i am in the process of picking through the small number of remaining minor issues and restoring the car's dash to a "pre-A/C" condition (a) the AC does not work and (b) I really like the cleaner way the dash looks without the AC evaporator and (c) I have absolutely no plans on driving the car other than with the top down!
Driving it - looking at that wonderful view through the windshield - always brings a smile to my face. Looking forward to many. many years of enjoyable ownership of this beautiful classic!
