UP FOR AUCTION IS AN ELEGANT SERIES II E-TYPE ROADSTER.

The color is Ascot Fawn/Cinnamon. This car has the highly desired factory synchronized 4-speed manual transmission, and is equipped with the original Jaguar factory supplied disc wheels. It also has the original radio, which is a rare find and a good indicator of it’s originality.

Vehicle Condition

The car is a very Clean, Original and Low Mile car. Following are details outlining the vehicles condition.

- 54000 ORIGINAL miles

- 100% CORRECT, and most of it ORIGINAL and in exceptional condition

. all ORIGINAL HEAT SHIELDS, lower and upper, still intact

. FRONT CAGE INTACT and in excellent condition

. RUST FREE BODY (including floor boards, trunk area and rockers)

. ORIGINAL RADIO - in excellent

. FRONT LICENSE PLATE bracket assembly - very rare, usually long gone by now

. ORIGINAL red tags still on carbs

. ALL ORIGINAL hose clamps and cable ties still intact

- Top is either NEW or was never used - top frame also looks new/restored or could be original

- boot cover is LIKE NEW

- EXCELLENT tires

- VERY FEW oil leaks

- car drives VERY TIGHT AND SMOOTH, as a low mile car should

- ALL ORIGINAL carpeting, including the original carpeted floor mats with the original felt pads, and in excellent shape for a 35 year old

- ORIGINAL trunk kit (mats/side boards), and in excellent condition

- RUST FREE trunk

- ORIGINAL dash and control panel - look at the condition of the dash, knobs, labels, etc

- engine area is VERY CLEAN and 100% complete

- ALL NUMBERS MATCH

- the car runs very well and is 100% FUNCTIONAL except for clock - everything works great including all of the gages (temp, oil pressure, etc. etc).

As seen by the photos, this car is in exceptional condition, considering how much of it is ORIGINAL.

There are a few flaws (seats worn/cracked - mostly the drivers seat, couple small dents in the body, chrome is starting to show age but no real rust, some of the rubber door seals are worn, head rests need new foam, paint is good - but not show), as you would expect from a car that has not been restored.

In summary, the car is an excellent driver and

shows very well.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
