In short, the steady evolution of the E-Type meant that buyers of the Series II got a much better, more comfortable and reliable Jaguar - attributes that complemented its already well-established reputation for superior performance, handling and appearance. The 1969 E-Type Series II offered here is a rust-free, excellent-performing example from California, finished in Primrose yellow with a black convertible top and a new biscuit leather interior. A recent inspection reveals fresh trunk upholstery and a clean, unrestored and original engine bay, as well as a desirable four-speed manual gearbox and a new set of Dayton chrome wire wheels, wrapped in Vredestein Classic radial tires.

This E-Type is complete with the original owner's manual and service pouch. This is a great yet affordable example of one of the most beloved and desirable sports cars of all time.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
