Current owner looking for history on the car:
I own the XKE Serie 2 from 1969, serial 1R9094 and I would like to put a history on it.
The JDHT-Certificate reveals it was delivered 1969 to the British Leyland in New York, but have no record of the first owner. No body tells me what happened to the Bristish Leyland and their archives. But I know that the car was exported to Germany 1986.
If anyone remembers that period 1969-1986 and recognize the British Racing Geen, the XKE Serie 2, the Serial 1R9094, there is a chance to learn what happened to the car in the USA.
