Seller's description:

We are thrilled to present another beautiful Jaguar E-type. This 1969 Jaguar E-type Series 2 Roadster was built on April 1 of 1969 and the date of dispatch was May 1 of 1969. It is finished in its stunning original color combination of Pale Primrose with Cinnamon interior. The paint on the car is gorgeous. This car was very well cared for before we acquired and maintained as it is very much an excellent original car. The seats and center console were restored in March. Some of the other work completed recently is as follows:

• The original steering wheel was restored. • Four Wheel alignment • New front shocks. • New stainless steel exhaust installed. • Intake, carburetors and valve covers polished. • Compression test and excellent at 150 psi on every cylinder. • New water pump installed. • Front crankshaft seal replaced. • New transmission mount installed. • Underside degreased and cleaned. • New spark plugs installed and ignition wires. • Heater hoses replaced. • Brake hoses replaced. • Engine mounts replaced. • Seats recovered in leather. • Center console recovered in leather. • Exhaust manifolds powder coated. • New valve cover gaskets installed.

This car is a pleasure to drive. It runs excellent with no excessive valve ticking. The brakes are solid and the car stops straight In addition the gearbox is smooth and easy to shift through the gears with the clutch being easy to operate with no slippage. This Jaguar E-type holds temperature well on very warm NC days. The body fit and gaps on the car are excellent. Overall, this is a wonderful show/driver type car that is ready to enjoyed.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
