Ebay item 1/9/21
www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Jaguar-E-Type/193841249506
Seller's description:
The Jaguar E-Type, or the Jaguar XK-E for the North American market, is a British sports car that was manufactured by Jaguar Cars Ltd between 1961 and 1975. Its combination of beauty, high performance, and competitive pricing established the model as an icon of the motoring world.
Here we have a ex American version of a Series 2 Roadster. Excellent condition and drives like a dream. Body is in very good condition with some minor dings here and there, no rust at all and paintwork is very good but not perfect as one would expect out of a 52 year old car.

4.2L Inline-Six
VIN 81R8653
This is a very well-preserved example of the legendary E-Type roadster, finished in an eye-catching hue and with low mileage from new.
Under the bonnet sits a 4.2-litre naturally aspirated inline-six, delivering around 268PS and 383Nm of torque to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.
One of 8,627 Series 2 roadsters produced, this E-Type’s authenticity is confirmed by a Heritage Trust Certificate.
The odometer shows 49,715 miles.
Finished in the vibrant hue of Signal Red with a black soft-top roof, this example features a black leather-trimmed cabin accented by a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and rides on the correct set of polished wire wheels with Jaguar-branded hub nuts.
The seller is not aware of any mechanical or electrical faults.
The most recent roadworthiness test was performed in 2019, which the vehicle reportedly passed with no warnings or advisories.
SERVICE HISTORY
This E-Type was most recently serviced in January 2020 at 49,020 miles by Malta Classic Car Museum, who changed the engine oil and oil filter, and added a silicone-based brake fluid.
Prior to this, the engine oil and oil filter were refreshed in 2017.
Other minor maintenance work undertaken during the seller’s ownership includes changing hoses and clips when required.
