I had the pleasure of meeting Ernie and seeing his impressive E-Type at the Renaissance Eurofest car show yesterday in Ridgeland, MS. I was one of the judges and was proud to see his car win "Best of the Marque" for the entire British Class. The car is perfect and Ernie is a pleasure to talk with. I hope to see him and his car at other events.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
