Imported into the United Kingdom from the United States and registered SVR701H in 2014. Sold by Andrew Walker Cars of Templecombe in April 2021. Listed on eBayUK, seller's description below.

A delightful Series 2 roadster in one of the best colour combinations. It was sold as a Personal Export and originally UK registered, before spending most of its life in the hands of two owners in the US. It was then repatriated to the UK in 2014 and later converted to RHD with triple SU's replacing the lacklustre Strombergs. The mileage of 68,000 is genuine and it comes with loads of history. It is a very genuine original example, and has been in continual, if limited, use over the past 50 years. The bodywork is unmarked, the chromework is perfect and the interior is spot on. It drives extremely well and comes with its heritage certificate, original spare, unused toolkit, six branch manifold and a modern radio.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
