The car is finished in Signal Red and was repainted in 2000, at which time a replacement soft top and chrome trim were installed. A replacement windshield was fitted in 2024, and additional equipment includes a rear luggage rack, sealed-beam open headlights, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, a louvered clamshell hood, and quad exhaust outlets. The left marker lamps and reverse light do not work, and the seller notes a dent on the left rear quarter panel near the fuel filler, bubbling on the left lower door and right rear quarter panel, scratches around the left front wheel arch, chips above the rear center hood vent, oxidation on the chrome bumpers, and paint cracks around the hood vents and driver’s door.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by knock-off hubs and are mounted with Vredestein Sprint ST tires measuring 185SR15. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The cabin was reupholstered in 2000 and features bucket seats trimmed in black leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. A JVC CD stereo with Bluetooth has been added. The seller states that the heater blower motor is noisy.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 76k miles, approximately 34k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with triple SU carburetors, one of which was rebuilt in 2020. The seller states the engine was overhauled during the refurbishment.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
