Opening bid $95,000 reserve not met, no bids 2 days left in auction, buy it now price $98,500. Car now said to be in Huntington Station, New York.

    Sellers description:
    1969 JAGUAR E-TYPE 4.2 LITER SERIES 2 ROADSTER
--Light Blue with Dark Blue, Dark Blue carpeting and Black convertible top, 4-speed, Restored, Original color combination, Air Conditioning, Matching numbers, Chrome wire wheels.

Built November 14, 1968, this E-type was dispatched on December 4, 1968 and delivered to British Leyland Motors Inc in New York. This Series II E-type Roadster is a matching numbers example as verified by its Jaguar Heritage Certificate. It received a documented Frame off restoration in 2007/2008 and scored 999.2/1000 at Jaguar North America Concours de Elegance (all judging records are included.) Its restoration, ownership and service histories are documented. It is a rare given the factory optioned air conditioning.

The body is exceptional with superb panel fit and excellent show quality paint. The interior is excellent having had limited use since restoration. As you can see from the photos, this was a rotisserie restoration. It has received a new wiring harness and the engine and gearbox have been rebuilt by a well-known Jaguar specialist.
