Sellers description:
1969 E-type convertible . As you can see it needs total restoration but what's great about this one is -NO Rust- this is the last car from the Jaguar XKE collection I have. The last owner bought it about 1975 from a person that had the car go off the road and into the woods which resulted in light body damage all over. A lot of replacement parts have already been put on it. The car shows only 20,861 miles. The car has been in the garage from that time. Not stored outside. The Data plate shows- Serial # 1R7533, matches frame rail, Engine # - 7R2059-9, matches number on engine by oil filter, Body # 4R1566, matches body tag in rear, Trans # KE3472, I cannot see number stamped, but past owner says original. - Engine--looks complete, because some of the wiring is apart inside the car, there is no Voltage to starter, oil looks good, motor should be fine. --Transmission - matches car and is a 4 speed. -- Interior--as you can see most is apart and all the pieces I have are included along with the radio console etc.-- BODY--Please look carefully at pics for body, while it was dented there is NO RUST, floors are great, as well as rockers , trunk floor etc. Pretty good considering how these rust- why buy a Rusty car you have to weld back together ??, windshield is cracked. Steering wheel is missing, I have bumpers and the front headlight assemblies. Any part I have for it, you get. ...Car is sold with a Notarized CONN bill of sale. CT does not give titles on old cars. I DO have the title signed from the second owner, the last (3rd) owner never registered the car while fixing it. It is not registered now. The car is located in Southington CT, 06489 -
