Ebay item# 2430388663 9/1/03
Sellers comment:
This 1969 Jaguar E-type 2+2 is a great original XKE. The paint is faded and the seats are worn, but it is a complete, rust free 2+2. It has only one ding and that is in the front of the bonnet.

Vehicle Condition
The engine runs very smoothly. Mechanically everything works, but the AC, which is not blowing cold air.

Sellers comment:
I bought this car in the fall of last year off of ebay. (see original posting in photos). Since then I have put in more then $17,000 worth of mechanical repairs. The car now runs great, just like new. Needs nothing more and is mechanically sound. Can email the 7 pages of documents from my mechanic that outline all repairs and rebuilds done. My mechanic feel in love with this car and did an expert job of getting it to run smoothly. The body is unchanged since I bought it and is 100% ORIGINAL. totally unrestored, no bonding, no welding, unmolested. great for a purist. This is the rare four seater 4.2 liter straight 6 cyl. Borg Worner Automatic Transmission , Power Steering. The paint seems to be the original factory paint. The wheels are 72 spoke 15x5 chrome wire. exhaust is stainless stell. THERE IS NO RUST ON THIS CAR ANYWHERE. we were told it had always been garaged in the south. Includes rare 4.1 liter, 6cyl engine with auto trans, air conditioning (needs some attention blows air) powersteering, 4 wheel disc servo assist, suspension front independnet torsion bars, wishbone and anti-roll bar, rear independent, coil springs, mounted in sererate frame.

Vehicle Condition
I restored EVEYTHING mechanical on this car and it is ready to go as if it were new. RUNS SMOOTH and FAST. Paint seems to be original and only has minor cracks here and there. only dent is a small ding in the front bonnent (very minor). The interior is space age and has all working gadgets. the drivers seat leather is warn. ALL ORIGINAL through-out. I even spent couple hundred bucks to restore the original tri-band radio to working order. HOT CAR! driving this car will make you feel like a kid again.
