cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-Jaguar-E-Type-2-2-27-000-original-miles-/1608511706 ...
Current bid $6,600 reserve not met, 10 bids 4 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar E type. Due to very recently acquiring a series 1 roadster, I am selling this rare original Coupe to make room.
This E type is a time warp car that has 27,000 original documented miles. It had never been restored and is totally original.
I purchased this car from the 2nd owner who bought it in 1983 with 13,000 original mile. It has been in storage since 2000 as the old registration shows.
The Jaguar had a full brake service done with new OEM booster and master cylinder. old parts are in a box and has receipts. $1300 for the work.
The car runs and performs as you would expect from such a low mile car and I drive it nearly everyday.
Below are some of the great features on this car.
27,778 Original documented miles.
4 Speed manual gearbox
Original books and service records till 81. New owner had a service shop and did all maintenance from then.
Black Plate California Car.
New owner bought the car with 13K miles in 1983.
Has original sales receipt from San Fransisco dealer.
Has original spare tire and never been on the road.
Still stands on original tires that are amazingly still in good condition.
Excellent original wood steering wheel
Has tool kit.
Body straight with just a couple of minor 1/4 size dings
Space frames and front structure untouched.
All original factory spot weld.
No Bondo ever
No rust ever. All original factory sheet metal.
Excellent body panel fit.
Interior is in good condition showing very little wear confirming mileage.
Headliner in excellent condition with no tears or discoloration.
Nice dash and instruments.
Door panels excellent.
Just had master brake cylinder and booster replaced. Old units in box.
Runs and drives like a jag should. good oil pressure, no overheating.
Factory AC Car.
Still has the original factory Lucas headlamps.
Excellent chrome with no damage anywhere
Bonnet nose is untouched.
Still has the factory inspectors number under the bonnet. No 7 in black crayon.
Has the factory body fit number under the hood and on the firewall in yellow crayon
Original factory radio
