Ebay item 10/22/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-1969-Jaguar-XKE-2-2_W0QQitemZ280165514 ...
Current bid $1,969 reserve not met, 1 bid, 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $22,000.
Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar XKE 2+2 coupe with silver exterior and black leather interior. The paint is a 9 out of 10, there are a few small dents front right fender and one on the left, interior is a 7 out of 10. The car has 76,000 total miles and the car has always been in California and shows no signs of rust on the underbody. The V6 engine just underwent a $12,000 rebuild in 2004. The chrome throughout the car is in excellent condition, the exhaust system has been replaced, aircondition is installed but does not work at this time, and the headliner is new. The window rubber needs to be replaced, L/H and R/H front leather seats show signs of wear, and the passenger side door will not open from the outside. The basic mechanical condition of the car is good, it does need a little TLC here and there, but it will turn heads as it sits right now.

Current bid $2,025 reserve not met, 7 bids 9 days left in auction. Car now located in Beverly Hills, California. 77k miles.
Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar E-type Coupe 2 Plus 2 Series 2 with Matching Numbers. It has only 77,000 original miles. The miles can be verified by the paper work that comes with the car. This car has been garaged kept and never driven in the rain. This is a true California car that has never left the state of California. This Beauty comes with California DMV records dating back to the mid 1970’s. For many years this car was a DMV non-operational vehicle. What that means is that you pay the minimum fee to the DMV to keep the car registered but you cannot drive the car. This is obviously what kept the car at such low miles!
Mechanically, this E-type with matching numbers, has had an extensive mechanical restoration by an Exclusive Jaguar Specialist. This mechanical restoration was finished less than 4,000 miles ago! This mechanical overhaul cost and comes with receipts at over $14,165.54. There are many more receipts too that come with the sale of this beauty, they add up to over $30,000. It has had a Complete Engine Rebuild, all components and everything you could think of has been done to this car. I would drive this car anywhere. Please review pictures of the receipt from a 30 year Jaguar expert certifying the numbers are matching.
This beautiful E-type looks incredible from every angle. The cars paint is very nice and all the chrome is amazing!! This car has a beautiful eye catching color combination which really makes it a unique piece! The leather interior is flawless. The driver and the passenger seats have just been fully redone and installed on 1/31/2009 and at a cost of $2,000. They have been completely rebuilt and have brand new foam and Leather, they look outstanding. The back seats are in terrific shape too. The leather feels very soft. The wood steering wheel is also another added option. The gauge cluster looks nice and clean and the dash is in perfect condition. The original jack and a spare also come with the car.
This '69 2 Plus 2 Coupe is a rare find! Especially being such beautiful condition, as well as the incredible mechanical overhaul with the original matching numbers engine and being a true California Car. This car was obviously well taken care of over the years and garage kept. This car has the best of everything and is ready to drive or show and enjoy right now.
