1969 series 2 Jaguar XKE 2+2. All matching #s . Same california owner 31 years .Always garaged, there are no signs of rust or rust repair anywhere on the body ,frame or battery floor . Excellent runner with even compression on all cylinders ,150 psi , great gearbox and clutch. .The black velour carpet looks in too good of a shape to be 38 years old and most rubber seals have been replaced , everything else is original and unmolested .The leather interior and headliner are in excellent condition There are no sign of repair or bondo anywhere in the body.The gaps on the doors , trunk lead and bonnet are even and the paint is rich and shining. All chrome and trims are in beautiful shape no pitting or discoloration and all 5 wire wheels are shining.

This E type is an extremely nice, original driver. I would consider this Jag to be in the "sweet spot" for a vintage car. While it's not perfect, it's an extremely original and well cared for example that can be driven and enjoyed.

From what I can tell, this is an original 90k mile car. It's completely rust free and numbers matching. It's been repainted once in its original factoy hue of burgundy. Mechanically, the car is excellent. Starts easily and drives very, very well.
