This 1969 Jaguar XKE 2+2 is said to have been refurbished under prior ownership including a repaint, replacement of the floors, and refurbishment of the engine, suspension, and brakes. The car is finished in red over black leather and powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes 15” wire wheels, dual Stromberg carburetors, a stainless-steel exhaust system, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, air conditioning, and a Philips AM/FM radio. This Series II 2+2 is now offered with service records and a clean Arizona title in the name of the seller’s LLC.

The body is said to have received a glass-out repaint in red as part of the aforementioned refurbishment that included replacement of the floors. Features include a louvered hood, a driver-side mirror, pop-out rear quarter windows, and chrome-finished bumpers with overriders. Paint chips on the clamshell bonnet and damage on the rear bumper gasket is visible.

Chrome-finished 15” wire wheels wear earless spinners and are mounted with 205/75 Toyo Eclipse whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted units out back.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black leather with matching carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, a Philips AM/FM radio, and front lap belts. Wear is visible on the seats.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline. Auxiliary gauges and a clock are mounted in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles, and true mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six features dual Stromberg carburetors and is said to have been rebuilt as part of the refurbishment process.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. The car features a stainless-steel exhaust system.

Private Party or Dealer: Private Party

Lot #108840

This 1969 Jaguar XKE 2+2 was refurbished under prior ownership, and it was acquired by the seller on BaT in May 2022 and relocated to Canada. Refurbishment work included a repaint in red, replacement of the floors, and an overhaul of the engine, suspension, and brakes. Power is provided by a 4.2-liter inline-six paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes 15” wire wheels, dual Stromberg carburetors, a stainless-steel exhaust system, black leather upholstery, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and air conditioning. This Series II 2+2 is now offered with records, literature, and a Quebec registration.

The body is said to have received a glass-out repaint in red as part of the refurbishment, which also included replacing the floors. Features include a louvered hood, a driver-side mirror, pop-out rear quarter windows, and chrome-finished bumpers with overriders. Exterior blemishes include paint chips on the clamshell bonnet and damage on the rear bumper gasket.

Chrome-finished 15” wire wheels wear earless spinners and are mounted with 205/75 Toyo Eclipse whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted units out back.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black leather along with color-matching carpets. Air conditioning and front lap belts are equipped. Wear is visible on the seats, and the Philips AM/FM radio does not work.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline. Auxiliary gauges and a clock are mounted in the center of the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 71k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six features dual Stromberg carburetors and is said to have been rebuilt as part of the refurbishment process. An oil change was carried out in April 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. The car features a stainless-steel exhaust system.

Records and literature are included in the sale.

The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a province that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its registration.
