Opening bid $8,000 reserve not met, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar 2+2 has been in garage storage for over 20 years. It had one previous, registered owner. It is complete and original except for an Arbath exhaust system. The car has 37,128 original miles and includes original title, delivery paper work, and maintenance reciept. Engine: The engine starts and runs well, but overheats. Gas tank, is cleaned and coated, carburetors rebuilt, and radiator re-conditioned. The car drives well and is in good overall mechanical condition. Body: The body is in very good condition except for poor original paint, minor dings, and one small rust spot on the driver's door. It was undercoated at delivery and has no other rust. Chrome on the grill, bumpers, emblems, air scoop facia, and trailing end side chrome, are lightly pitted. Remainder of chrome and stainless are good to excellent. The wire wheels are excellent, except for the knock-offs that need rechromed. Interior: Original leather seats have been reconditioned and are like new, except for small wear on driver's upper entry side. Headliner is very good, but visors need to be redone. Carpet is original wool but in below average condition. A/C works. This car has been dry stored in my garage for over twelve years, but I have lost interest, and need room for other projects. It is an easy restoration/project car as it is already 99% complete. Also included are spare parts, new weather seals, manuals, restoration information etc.
