Ebay item 10/31/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-4-2-Jaguar-E-type-1969-all-original-L- ...
Opening bid $5,000 reserve not met, no bids yet, 9 days left in auction. Buy it now price $11,999.

Sellers description:
1969 Jaguar XKE E-Type 4.2 2+2 seater. It only has 34224 original miles. Still has original tires with red walls. This was a California car and always stored in a garage. Rarely driven and owned buy a Coca-Cola Exec. It was recently moved to Ohio and was garaged or under a cover. Needs some TLC but this car is a restorers dream come true. Everything has been kept original and it is a drivable car. Paint Job is needed and some interior upholstery but otherwise in good shape. Recently had more than $9000 in Engine Restoration by a specialty import repair shop with receipts to show work performed. The reason for the body work seen in the picture is it was bumped in the garage by a pickup truck.

Car returns to ebay 1/11/21

www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Jaguar-XK-e-type-2-2/124521307784

Current bid: $2,550 reserve not met 4 bids 5 days left in auction buy it now price $22,499.00 seller wolfchaseautosalesmemphis, car now said to be in Memphis, TN, previously in Canal Winchester, Ohio, 54k miles.

Seller's description:

Nice running 1969 XKE 2+2 project. This is an ex-California black plate car. It's not rusty and it's complete. A father and son team were working on stripping it for a paint job, but all parts removed are present and go with the car. This would be an easy cosmetic restoration.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
