This car now has its "home" in Norway. It was imported by a man who live in the norwegian city: Drammen, October 2005. He just had the car stored indoors, an did not drove it at all, up to this autumn, when he decides to sell it.
I bought it this autumn, and are now about to put it in storage for the winter. Here are the driving season from May to September. The rest of the year its snow and ice.
I do have some problems with the car. I have had the carburators and the distributor rebuild, but the car do not run smooth. It is clearly some problems with the tuning. Some "parts in the intake manifold where also stuck, but I managed to loosen this, so that they "play along" with the carburators operation. I believe that the cars long term storing has brought up some challenges. I hope in the spring next year, to get it succesfully tuned, so that I can enjoye the car on a daily basis, during the summer.
The car has black cloth seats, was this rare on these cars ? I have always thought that almost all e-types hade leather seats.
