Ex Californian (arn''t they all?) car exported to Australia about 8 years ago and converted to RHD, 5 speed supra box. Approx 6 months from completion of bare metal restoration.

I purchased this vehicle from E Type Restorations (Glen Olsen) in December 2006 and it is now in Geelong, Victoria.

The vehicle is in excellent condition and has received several Gold and Silver awards at Jaguar National Rally events.

When I purchased the vehicle it had done 58,000 miles. The vehicle has now done 67,100 miles (April 2013) and continues to be reliable and a lot of fun to drive.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
