Sold by Fayreoak Classics of Cheltenham in December 2022. Amended seller's description below.
www.fayreoak.com/autos/1969-jaguar-e-type-s2-manual-22/

1969 Jaguar E Type S2 2+2. Original Right Hand Drive, matching numbers, 2 owners from new. 38,000 miles recorded, believed correct but not guaranteed. Completely rust free, running and driving. Due to long term storage it would be advisable to go through the brakes and suspension before use on a public road. Will need a respray, the original colour is sable. Interior is good and useable, chrome all good, engine and gearbox are all okay with very good oil pressure, overall very solid.

Purchased new by Keith Coombes for his wife, Patricia and registered in her name on 10 November 1969. He was the owner of Birmingham City Football Club and owned S and U Stores. Sold to its second owner, David Plant in June 1978, also based in Birmingham and now owned by us. A real opportunity, it needs little work to make into a useable E Type.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
