I purchased this car in June 2002 with about 55,000 miles which I think were original. I took a job in Beijing, China and sold the car to Kevin McDaniel of Colorado in September 2002. It was a great driver - mechanically excellent. Original colors were primrose yellow exterior and black interior. Manufacture date: January 1970.

I purchased this car in April 2004, and have had it ever since. Still in wonderful driveable condition. It's still in Colorado and enjoys several thousand miles/year. It now has 75k on it, they are rolling sculptures. . .

Great to know this car is doing well. It was a pleasure to drive - I distinctly remember driving it from Sacramento to irvine in 2002 when I first purchased the car, a journey of 450 miles taking about 7 hours! It performed wonderfully!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
