Sellers description:
Looks good runs great.
I began this restoration about 10 years ago, it has been ongoing ever since. The interior is a complete restore. The wood used for the dash is heavily burled walnut, very thick (and difficult to work with) much like the material used in the older cars. The paint is good but not perfect,it is the oldest part of the restoration ( the car has been 90% garaged). The body was originally taken down to the sheetmetal. The bumbers are original, most of the hood trim is new (NOS). The following are items installed with less than 500 miles on it: triple weber carbs with Warne manifold, 3" stacks ( I have short K&N's also), high energy coil, solid state ignition, procomp CSI dual point ignition module (be advised this apparently deactivates the tach, unknown why as the tach works as well) carter high flow fuel pump, high torque starter, 65 amp GM alternator to drive all that stuff, polyurethane rack bushings. I replaced the stock heater with a high flow version for desert running, can be easily changed back. I also installed high flow fans that fit in the stock openings, can be changed out if you really want to. This was a labor of love but the economy has forced my hand.
