You are bidding on a beautiful and immaculately maintained 1970 Jaguar E-Type XKE.

This car was taken down to the bare metal in 1994 and professionally repainted with 8 coats of Pearl white and 3 coats of clear coat which resulted in a beautifully deep finish. New door rubber all-around and window felt was installed. The front bumper and headlights were re-chromed. The rear bumper is fine...just several surface scratches and slight fading of the chrome.

The doors and windows shut solid and tight with no leaking. A new stainless steel tuned-exhaust captures the voice and performance of the motor.

The leather interior and carpet are presumed to be original, so yes there is some wear. The dash panel is complete with no cracks. Several of the control knobs are missing, but that can be worked out when you purchase the car.

It has original Jaguar wire wheels, even on the spare tire, riding on 4 new P215 -75-R15 tires. New brakes all-around have been installed to stop this beast on a dime.

No engine work has been done since I purchased the car 14 years ago other than replacing several gaskets and seals. The car DOES NOT burn or leak any oil.

I am selling the car because I no longer have the time to drive and appreciate the car. I want someone else to experience the satisfaction and enjoyment of owning a Jaguar which I have had over the years.

Condition of the car: I would rate it an 8 out of 10. The wire wheels have some surface rust from 36 years of road use. The car is a factory- air conditioned model, however it DOES NOT work, but the compressor does turn by hand. Any service this car required was completed by one of the most reputable Jaguar service centers in our area, and is inspected until 5/07 (a Pennsylvania vehicle law).
