    ebay Item # 2418945871 6/10/02
    Sellers comment:
Custom Sunroof, 6 Cylinders, Air Conditioning, Jensen Stereo Sound System, Custom Chrome Wheels. 38,303 Original miles and was first owned by Mick Jagger and later sold to a sessions drummer who sold it to me. I had it renovated to its present state and used it primarily as an extra car in television series: Chips, Harry "O", etc.
    Vehicle Condition
runs but needs the top end rebuilt. Tires were new but have been part of the storage situation and would probably need to be replaced for highway driving. Present paint was changed from silver on red and could be returned to original as Jaguar could use repainting.

1969 Jaguar 4.2 XKE Custom Coupe, Black/Red Exterior, Red Leather Interior, Custom Sunroof, 6 Cylinders, Air Conditioning, Jensen Stereo Sound System, Custom Chrome Wheels. 38,303 Original miles and was first owned by Mick Jagger and later sold to a sessions drummer who sold it to me. I had it renovated to its present state and used it primarily as an extra car in television series: Chips, Harry "O", etc. A major change in my personal life made the car impracticle and has had very little use in the past 20 years.

    Vehicle Condition
This Jaguar runs but needs the top end rebuilt and is presently insured for gold blue book value of $23,500. Tires were new but have been part of the storage situation and would probably need to be replaced for highway driving. Present paint was changed from silver on red and could be returned to original as Jaguar could use repainting.

Opening bid $15,000, no reserve, no bids yet 6 days left in auction. 44k miles.

    Sellers description:
This vintage Jaguar was the personal car of Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones when he recorded in various Los Angeles' sound studios here in the United States. The Jaguar was given by Mick Jagger to a studio musiciain, who, in-turn, sold it to Victor McCain in 1977. Victor had the Jaguar repainted and installed new red leather seats. Since Victor McCain was a cast member of the "CHIPS"/TV Series of the 1970s; he drove it in numerous background scenes. The Jaguar has been stored non-operational since 1992. The Jaguar runs, but would need the "top end" rebuilt for daily usage.
