Current bid $14,000.00 (Reserve met), 5 bids, 6 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
This is a superb example of a XKE coupe. There is no rust at all. I have it stored under cover in an air conditioned garage. It has dealer installed triple Webers!!!!! I purchased it from a collector in CA a few years back. I was told it was a two owner car and the condition bears this out. The title is still State of Washington. The interior is great condition. The wheels are a rare factory option. The car was painted at least 15 to 20 years ago and is in great condition. It runs smooth and strong. The car has been tuned for sea level by the best British car shop in Sarasota.

This is a completely original numbers matching XKE except for a recent re-paint in the original Regency Red. Only modifications are dealer-installed triple Weber carbs and Werneford water cooled manifold. Does well at shows, and is driven in rallys, including the Argentina Mille Miglia in 2007 and the New England 1000 in 2014. A great original driver!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
