For sale is a carport find that has been sitting for 24 years - 1st picture as found. Rolling restoration project. Clear title. 113k miles believed correct. Heritage certificate. Numbers matching. Engine turns with the key/starter. Originally Signal Red/Black Interior. Very straight - only ding on the body is from a rear bumper mishap, see picture #12, a small dent on the back panel. Rust primarily in the floors and the doors. New lower floor pans available from Moss (XKs Unlimited) in the catalog for $144 each, and door skins for $300 each. Paint flaking in many locations, some to bare metal so surface rust there. Prior owner's purchased in 1984, parked it in 1995 with fuel pump problems - comes with the old and the new pumps uninstalled. No known drive train or suspension work prior to being parked (husband has passed away, can't find any records). Headlights, wipers, heater fan (one speed), flashers work so most of the electricals are intact. Looks to be complete and original except for two layers of white paint and the seats have been recovered once. Interior preserved better but needs work - holes in the floors, carpets pretty far gone, door panels warped, driver's seat has some tears, passenger seat some cracking. Back area vinyl in good shape. Should make a fine E-Type Coupe after restoration.
