West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and rust free example of this coveted original southern California 1969 Jaguar XKE E-Type Series II coupe with it's original matching number 6 cylinder 4.2L/246HP engine which has been rebuilt and repainted in 'British Racing Green' paint with a black interior and all five original Jaguar wheels, tools, jack, original owner's handbooks etc in a framed picture and its original and highly coveted California 'Black License Plates'!
The car is reported to have only some 90K original miles by its previous long time owner who purchased the car some thirty years ago from its original California owner who had lived and who purchased the car new in Napa, California. We purchased the car recently restored from only its second owner with a full shell up restoration including the complete power-train and drive-train, a new clutch and new electrical system and we completed some further mechanical work at at the renown 'British Car Clinic'; Jaguar specialists of Santa Monica, California which included; remove cylinder head and complete valve job, new fuel pump, new brake master cylinder, new power booster kit, new alternator, new carb, new distributor and vacuum retarder, new oil pressure switch, new air filter and new muffler etc., (Cost over $6,000) for piece of mind turn key ready driving today!
The floor boards and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free! The car has no signs of any accidents of any kind and has a straight body with no rust. It's 'British Racing Green' color paint is in exceptionally fine condition and the car looks extremely impressive with a lovely black interior which is in complete and mostly original condition apart from re-upholstered front seats and with the door panels, headliner, dashboard and carpets all in very fine condition with no flaws. The car has it's original spare wheel and tools located in the trunk.
