Original (even the spectacular paint); sports driver by me, av. 50 miles each dry week on country roads for last 20 years; garaged & covered always; never a primary car; same mechanic since BMC service ended in first year. Original wire wheels getting a little out-of-round but still a great ride. Love this car!

I am the original owner and have owned the car continuously over the years. Almost everything is factory original, especially paint, chrome, wire wheels and all glass except for windshield, and all interior except for restored seats. Engine rebuilt, now 38,000 miles. I drive the car 46 miles (roundtrip) a week to a country coffee shop ... that's it. Runs sweet! Same Sacramento service mechanic from the beginning ... still is. I'm getting up there, 85 now, but car still not for sale. Someday, I guess.

Jan. 2019. Happy to report my 69 E-type continues to run beautifully - still 50 miles

to country coffee shop, most weeks if roads are dry.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
