Car to be at Coy's auction 5/09
www.coys.co.uk/auctions/lot.php

Auction description:
Lot 240
Registration Number: DVK 107J Chassis Number: 1R20996
The example on offer here today is a 1970 fixedhead model which benefitted from a full restoration between 1989 and 1993, including a bare-metal respray, rebuilt suspension, rebuilt brakes, new leather interior, new wheels and tyres, new bright chrome work, and a comprehensive engine overhaul. Since then, the car has been well maintained and had numerous maintenance works carried out on it, most of which are included in the comprehensive service history file which accompanies the car.

Finished in red with black leather interior and complete with heritage certificate, this car is offered at no reserve. An excellent chance to acquire one of these classic icons of British automotive design.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
