This car has now been completed, and was shown at Goodwood 2009 . The full story of Chris Rooke's labour of love has been serialised in the E type club magazine . Full marks for skill and persistence, and although I haven't seen it personally, I am told that he has made a wonderful job of it

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
