August 30th 05....AGY116G alive and well and living in Berkshire. Now light metallic silver, all rebuilt, owned by me since Sept 03, just back from 3000 mile jolly round Europe taking in 2 speed hillclimbs in Italy and some posing in S. of France. Better than new and looking gorgeous!

Pleased to report that AGY 116G is still alive and well and looking as good as ever. Interia has recently been refurbished retaining original colour theme. Still silver exteria and in excellent condition. Lots of TLC in return for great trips round south of France. Now living in Surrey.

Sold by Winspeed Motorsport of Guildford in November 2022. Amended seller's description below.
    www.winspeedmotorsport.com/cars/1969-jaguar-e-type-series-2-coupe/

Finished in original specification Silver Grey with Black interior this very early Series 2 Coupe possesses a very good line with excellent panels and shut lines. It is installed witha 5 speed gearbox, Classicfabs long branch stainless steel manifold and 2'' exhaust system, uprated alternator and front calipers - all well sorted. Absolutely on the button and a very quick long distance touring car. Has been maintained by ourselves at Winspeed since 2010 and is sold with great confidence.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
