Going to ausction at Coys on 5th. July 2008:
"This 1970 roadster has had only five registered owners from new. The floors have been recently replaced and are totally rust-free while the interior is in very good order and, unlike a lot of E Types, it has not been over-restored and therefore retains a genuinely original patina. Also in superb mechanical condition, with both engine and gearbox running perfectly, this Jaguar comes complete with a substantial history file including a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate detailing the car's build, assorted photographs, and past MoT certificates dating back to 1991. Whilst this car requires some work to get it up to concours d'elegance standard, it is a joy to drive."
