Seller's description:

Stock #: 233973

Exterior Color: Light Blue

Interior Color: Black

Transmission: 4 speed Manual

Engine: 4.2 Liter DOHC Inline 6

Title Condition: Clear

With all the visual aspects of the car pointing to barn find, this car is an excellent unrestored example of the Jaguar E Type. Presented with wear on the seats and exterior of the car showing its age and presenting a story for the avid collector of rare, unmolested "barn yard find" cars.

The best part of this car however is the fact that the car looks the part, but it does not drive the part of an untouched vehicle. The car underwent a Stromberg Carburetor rebuild and mechanical refresh underneath in order for the car to be driven and enjoyed whenever its previous owner chose to take it out.

With a clean undercarriage, matching numbers, and in tact, functional roof, this car is an excellent time capsule of what this car has gone through and is an example on how not everything may need a nut and bolt restoration to tell a story.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
