The accompanying Jaguar Heritage Certificate testifies that this car was originally supplied on 13th August 1969 to Jaguar's main dealer, Henlys of London, in its original form of righthand drive, open two-seater with 4-speed manual gearbox.
Beautifully presented in Jet Black with black roof and Cinnamon leather interior, this car shows evidence of a comprehensive restoration, completed some years ago when many new parts were replaced and the body was prepared to a high standard with beautifully executed paintwork. Since 2002, a renowned classic car enthusiast has beautifully maintained this fabulous car in the dry conditions of Italy. Having recently returned to the UK, this vehicle has been carefully inspected and serviced and is in very good overall condition. The engine is reported to pull strongly as you'd expect from the 4.2 unit whilst the gearbox is accurate and tight propelling the car swiftly when asked.
This superb and desirable convertible Series II E-Type is supplied with a V5C registration document, a current MoT test certificate to December 2014 and an original Jaguar Heritage Certificate to confirm its authenticity.
