As seen on eBay, 5/2003. Ad reads:
"1970 Jaguar (E-type) Roadster Series II. Engine # 7R104869, Gearbox # KE11681, Chassis # 1R12497, and Body # 4R7034. This was recently restored about 500 miles on new engine (still needs to brake in) and an exiting new deep silver metallic color paint. The car was completely disassembled to bare body with primer and undercoat with the same paint brand. The hidden sheet metal parts were treated with protective gel coat the interior is in excellent shape with new door panels and rubber strips and new dashboard from jaguar and restored wood steering wheel all switches and gauges work properly. Here is a really outstanding E-Type with only 64,602 original miles. This car looks, handles, steers, brakes, and drives like a new car. It has flawless redone chrome, original seats and new carpet, matching number motor, New Robbins top and boot cover. It also has an spare tire on beautiful new Jaguar chrome spoke wheel, and the original jack pouch with tools. These Series II cars are more driver friendly than earlier cars. It features an overhauled 4.2 engine with new bearings, valve guides, pistons/rings, rebored cylinder, timing chain and tensioner, new radiator, water pump. New clutch and TOB, a better transmission, bigger brakes, better cooling system, more footwalls space, and more comfortable original leather seats. This Jaguar is in complete proper running order. Recent engine overhaul includes , recent brakes and front and rear shocks and suspension bushings, all electrical in proper working order, new tires on a new and wider spoke chrome wheels. A professional classic and collectable car judge, rated this restored Jaguar E TYPE at between a 97 and a 98 point car. With this high grade E-Type, pricing continues to accelerate upward. My reserve is more than reasonable and is less than--- $31,000.00."
