Car listed as sold at:
sportsclassics.co.uk/cars/1970-s2-roadster/

Seller's description:
1970 S Manual Roadster Chassis number 1R12441 has now arrived at our location.

The car is fully matching numbers and is a true survivor car. The interior is original along with the hood. Both would be excellent with little work. We have replaced the fuel pump and cleaned the tank and lines and the car starts and runs very well.

Despite its age, the paint is very presentable as you can see and the body is straight and solid with no evidence of rust with the exception of the battery tray. It is rare to get such an unmolested car in this condition.

It would take little recommissioning to have the car on the road and some refreshening in the winter would improve the car further.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
