    David, Skip is correct. If you are really interested in selling it would probably be worth your while to have it professionally appraised. In the interim Hagerty has a rough guide for current values. I would suggest you sell rather than let the car sit longer. Every E-type owner can tell you the enemy of these cars is rust, a sitting car is getting worse every day even though its parked inside.
