Ebay item 12/7/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $20,100.00 (Reserve not met), 4 bids, 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
When buyers are seeking to invest in any automobile, they want to have the assurance that the car they are looking to purchase meets certain criteria.

The owner of this E Type went to great lengths, and did his due diligence, in the quest for this Jaguar.

As the third owner of the car, he has continued to maintain and store it properly, while enjoying it occasionally.

This low mileage XKE has no history of any body damage or mechanical mishaps, and is one of the most rust free examples that we have ever seen.

The lines and fitment of all the panels is perfect, with the exception of the trunk lid.

There is slight bow on the left side of the lid, probably due to an attempt to close the trunk on an oversize object.

It is barely noticeable, and we are sure that a competent mechanic could correct the flaw easily, with no need for paint repair.

The exterior and interior are both very good, and show light wear for the vintage and mileage.

The top has a quarter inch tear where the hinging on the passenger side bit into it.

The rest of the car is fantastic. It is in exellent mechanical condition, the wire wheels are brilliant, and the contents of the trunk appear almost unused.

The tool kit is complete, and there a four additional knock offs for the wires.

The original radio has been replaced, but was saved, and comes with the car, as does a tonneau and complete car cover. Everything mechanical and electrical works, including the clock.

The original owners manual is worn, but goes with the Jag as well.

This beautiful red roadster is ready to drive off and enjoy.

Vehicle Location: Quogue, Long Island New York

Estimate: $36,000 - $38,000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
