Ebay item 9/10/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-Roadster-/201424904885
Car has a buy it now price of $165,000 for 6 days. Car now said to be in Austin, Texas, 76k miles, seller classicjaguar
Sellers description:
This beautiful, matching numbers E Type roadster received a high quality 'driver restoration' in the Team CJ Workshops approximately 4 years ago, and the car having been driven less than 1000 since. We performed a complete body restoration and total mechanical rebuild from stem to stern. The result is a beautiful E Type with upgraded cooling, suspension and ignition, as well as a CJ five speed transmission. The original, matching numbers transmission is included in the sale.
The Opalescent Dark Blue paint is stunning, and complimented beautifully by the biscuit Suffolk & Turley interior. The chrome has been refurbished, the Triplex windscreen is new, and the car sits on fresh Dayton wire wheels and Dunlop tires.
Just thoroughly serviced in the CJ Workshop, this car is ready to drive and/or show, needing nothing but a new owner! It could not be replicated for anywhere near the asking price.
A detailed photographic record of the restoration process is available upon request.
Sold strictly 'as is, where is' with no warranty of any kind being offered. Clear title conveys to the new owner.
