Ebay item 7/17/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $10,000.00 (Reserve not met), 1 bid, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This Jaguar was purchased in 1976 by my uncle, who is still the current owner. I am listing the car on ebay for him. It had 24,211 miles when it was purchased by him in 1976 and it currently has 68,964 miles. The mileage is original. This car has always been garage kept and was never driven in winter. The body is in great condition and the only rust on the car is at the battery tray. The car has been repainted a few years ago in the original color. The knock-off tool and hammer are still in the trunk. The engine, gearbox, and transmission are all original. The car is located near Trenton, NJ and the winning bidder can pick it up there. I will assist with shipping arrangements.
Vehicle Condition
The body is in great condition with no rust. The chrome work has some pitting. The interior is original, with the original leather seats. The seats need to be cleaned, but the leather is not cracked. The armrest between the seats is cracked however. The top needs replacement and a new top is included with the car.
* The brake fluid leaks in the front
* The right door latch is broken (door won't stay shut)
* The tachometer, stop light, and radiator fan are all on the same circuit and the circuit appears to have a short somewhere.
