This 1970 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster is said to have remained with the previous owner for 24 years before it was purchased by the selling dealer in September 2023. It is finished in red over black leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a black soft top, a louvered clamshell hood, and triple SU carburetors in addition to four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wire wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and a heater. This XKE roadster is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, a wheel knock-off tool, a jack, and a clean Texas title.

The car left the factory finished in Regency Red and it is fitted with a black convertible soft top. Exterior equipment includes sealed-beam open headlights, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, bright trim, a louvered clamshell hood, and chrome-finished dual exhaust outlets. Paint chips are visible at various locations around the car.

The 15″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with 205/70 Firestone FR380 whitewall tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.

The bucket seats are upholstered in black leather with perforated centers and are accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, and door panels. Appointments include a Sony CD stereo, sun visors, lap belts, a locking glovebox, and a heater. There is no floor covering in the footwells, and the driver’s seat upholstery shows wear.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Smiths 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline. Centrally mounted instrumentation consists of gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 44k miles, though total mileage is unknown.

The 4.2-liter inline-six is equipped with triple SU carburetors.

Block stamping 7R8894-9 is listed on the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate as the engine number.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.

The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate lists the factory colors and serial numbers, along with a build date of November 12, 1969.

The current Texas title is listed as a duplicate.
