Ebay item 5/5/17
www.ebay.com/itm/1969-Jaguar-E-Type-Roadster-/201915523733
Current bid US $42,301, no reserve, 15 bids 4 days left in auction, seller estatesale357, 79k miles. Riverside, California
Sellers description:
This is an EstateSale357, we are honored to present, a 1969 Jaguar XKE roadster. This car is a California car. I have looked all around it for any rust, and I can't find any. The car has never been wrecked. Car has been repainted, original color was silver with red leather. The frame rails were not painted, they still have the original silver paint on them, and the rest of the engine compartment is still silver, original paint still on it. Inside the trunk it still has the original silver paint. So, if I was to keep this car, I would probably just paint the rest of it silver, and redo the interior. The car runs and drives amazingly. The convertible top frame was professionally restored, and purchased German soft top canvas to go with it. This vehicle has always been a California vehicle. The vehicle runs and drives excellent! This vehicle is 100% matching number. I believe it still has the original spare tire in the trunk. I have driven the car in the last week over 300 miles, I live in California, and this last week has been hot, The car does not over heat, the car runs and drives excellent, and the air conditioning is ice cold. I don't know much about vehicles, here at estatesales we get very few vehicles, but when we do they go to this page here which is "EstateSale357".

Car returns to auction 3/26
www.aguttes.com//lot/173669/32554397-1969-jaguar-type-e-s2-roadster-chassis-ndeg ...
Auction description:
Aguttes - La Vente de Printemps, Paris, France 15 March, 2026
Lot 88
1969 - Jaguar E-Type Series 2 Roadster
Chassis No. 1R11401
French Classic Car Registration
"Very elegant color combination and in perfect working order!"
Our example was undoubtedly delivered new in the United States. It was found by the previous owner in California: it had been fully restored by an American woman who was enjoying her beautiful British car in Riverside! In 2017, #11401 arrived in France at the home of this prominent collector and rally driver.
Between 2023 and 2024, this former owner decided to entrust his E-Type to Jackie-Jag on several occasions. The work included: clutch, wiring harness, carburetor rebuild, new soft top, upholstery restoration, etc. All the invoices corresponding to this work are available upon request.
Today, our example is in very good overall condition. Its Grey Metallic paintwork combined with a burgundy leather interior is stunning and in perfect condition. Behind the wheel, the Series 2 E-Types are much more comfortable and easier to drive than their Series 1 siblings!
Because Series 2 cars were often overlooked compared to Series 1 cars, few examples have undergone significant restorations. Here is one of them!
