I am the original owner. Bare bones restoration done in 1982 @ 230,000 miles. Driven 80,000 miles since and still runs excellent. All original, except triple SU's and upgraded brakes.

    310,000 miles. Tremendous!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
