For sale at Historics Auction 29 November 2014

www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2014-11-29/cars/jaguar-e-type-sii-roadster.a ...

1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II Roadster

Registration ZV 1642
Chassis Number PIR10395
Engine Number 7R70699
Odometer reading 80,000 miles
Estimate £38,000 - £50,000

The current dedicated owners have looked after ZV 1642 since 2005 and have enjoyed her immensely with many excursions to local shows in the Galway area. Over £20,000 was spent some years ago with Classic Marques in Northern Ireland on a re-spray and the interior trim has also been up-graded. The steering wheel is a modern Moto-Lita unit and the overall condition is described by the vendors as between eight to ten out of ten in all areas. Enclosed within the history file are receipts for panels replaced and paintwork as well as registration documents.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
