1969 Jaguar E Type Roadster that is not only beautiful to look at but is ready for any road that you chose. All suspension parts are new with Bilstein shocks and high performance bushings and bearings, as well as brakes and motor mounts. The car has new Michelin Redline tires (OEM correct) and is safe to drive at any speed you feel comfortable. It has a new alternator, battery and wiring harness as well as an electronic ignition module fitted in the orginal Lucas distributor. (Visually correct, performance improved.) The interior is all new; seats, carpets, door panels, steering wheel, and the top and boot cover are new tan canvas.
This car is a head turner and a show stopper. Take it for a Sunday cruise and enjoy the looks you get or take it to a weekend carshow and soak up the compliments. This particular Jaguar XKE roadster comes to us from a southern based collector who cared for the car for over 15 years. Under the bonnet on this '69 Jaguar is a numbers matching 4.2 Liter Dual Overhead Cam Inline 6 Cylinder engine paired with a set of dual 1 barrel carburetors that was said to push out 246 horsepower. The 4.2L Inline 6 is currently mated to a 5 speed manual transmission that improves the overall driving experience.
