Ebay item 11/24/04
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $4,494.66 (Reserve not met), 8 bids, 9 days left in auction. 66k miles.

Sellers description:
1968 JAGUAR E-TYPE 2+2 GOOD RUNNER
The car is an untouched, unrestored vehicle and runs very well. Visable rusted areas do not seem to be very serious. A headliner and visors have to be replaced. The paint is not good but not missing. The chrome is fair to good. The interior is all there but the dye is worn through. The car can be brought back to life by a auto enthusiast with out a lot of expense. Remember, it runs and drives well as is!

cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-Coupe-Jaguar-E-Type_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ ...
Current bid $8,988 reserve not met, 10 bids 3 days left in auction. Car now in Litchfield, Connecticut. 66k miles.

Sellers description:
1968 XKE. All body work complete with new paint. Rear end and front suspension removed from car sandblasted, rebuilt and painted. New stainless exhaust. Chrome in good conditions with no scrathes or dents. All new rubber seals. Tires like new. Interior in good condition no rips or tears but leather has a worn look. Engine is strong and car runs excellent. Perfect car to be driven and look great driving it.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
