Sellers description:
This 1968 XKE originally came from Indiana. It is matching number car and it has been well cared for and always garaged. The paint color is signal red, which is the original color. $3200. was just spent on the front end brakes and ball joints. It has factory tinted glass. The paint is in very good condition, with an odd chip or two. The chrome is in nice condition as well. The floors, trunk and the sills are in excellent condition. Where the bonnet hinges has no rust as well.
The interior is black leather and both front and back seats are in excellent condition. The rear hatch area as well as the carpeting and console area are in excellent condition. There is a crack in the top of the dash area, which is probably from the sun.
The tires and weels are in very good condition. The engine runs strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. This car has not been around the clock and the mileage is correct.
The car will need a slight exhaust leak repaired and one of the rear brake calipers is leaking. Even with these problems the car can be driven home.
